Do You Know History?
A trivia app with hundreds of questions from Ottoman to Republican, ancient to modern history, where players test their knowledge and duel their friends.
The challenge
For many people history stays a dry subject of dates to memorise. The aim was an app that tests history knowledge in short, fun rounds that both teach and give the thrill of a competition.
It had to work solo and with friends, and suit players of different levels.
Our approach
Questions are grouped into five categories (General, Ancient, Ottoman, Roman and Mixed) and games into four levels: Easy, Medium, Hard and Expert. Timed questions and lifelines like 50:50 and x2 keep every round tense and fun.
Duel mode lets players challenge their friends, and scores and statistics track progress. An old-map texture with red accents gives the app a historical atmosphere.
