Prayer Times: Adhan & Qibla
An app that shows accurate prayer times for your location, adhan notifications, a Qibla compass and the Ramadan timetable in a clean, simple design.
The challenge
Most prayer-time apps are crowded with ads and busy screens, so the one thing you need, the next prayer, takes several taps to reach. People also want the correct time and Qibla direction quickly while travelling.
The goal was an app that opens fast, uses little battery and data, works without a connection and is easy on the eyes.
Our approach
The home screen focuses on the next prayer and the time left, and home-screen widgets show the times without opening the app. Location is detected automatically or chosen by hand, and times are saved in advance so the app keeps working offline.
A Qibla compass using the phone's sensors, a Ramadan timetable with countdown, a Hijri/Gregorian calendar, nearby mosques, a tasbih counter and dark mode make it an everyday tool. Location is used only to calculate prayer times.
